THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate Pannian Ravindran had maintained a clear lead in six out of the seven Assembly segments in Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency, while United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate V.S. Sivakumar had a slender lead only in one Assembly segment. Mr. Sivakumar has a lead of 1,013 votes only in Parassala Assembly segment. Even in the five segments where Mr. Sivakumar came second, Mr. Ravindran secured a comfortable margin. Mr. Ravindran has the highest tally of 65,258 votes in Thiruvananthapuram North, followed by Nemom with 64,940 votes.
