Dehra Dun: The father of a 21-year-old Australian tourist missing from Rishikesh in Uttaranchal for the past three months has offered a reward of Rs 1lakh to anyone giving information about his son. Jock Chambers, who, on Wednesday, made a passionate appeal to people to help him find his son, said Ryan had come to India on June 20 this year and after visiting Chennai and other places, had landed in Rishikesh on August 19. He was last seen near Rishikesh barrage on August 24 and had left all his belongings, including his passport and money in the ashram room where he was staying, Mr. Chambers told reporters here. Ruling out possibility of a suicide, he said though Ryan was reported to be mentally disturbed and had not slept for three nights before his disappearance, he did not think his son could have taken the drastic step. ``We had talked over phone with our son just a day before he disappeared. But I don't think he has committed suicide,'' Mr. Chambers said. Aaron, the elder brother of Ryan, also issued an appeal to him saying ``Even if you don't want to come back to Australia, please do tell us that you are alright.'' -- PTI
