`They are wary of the party's growth under Kharge'

BANGALORE:
Three Congress leaders said on Wednesday that the Janata Dal (S) has intensified its attack on Congress seniors as it is wary of "the growing popularity" of the party under its new State unit President M. Mallikarjun Kharge.
Addressing presspersons here, party general secretaries V.S. Ugrappa and T.V. Maruti and former Minister B.A. Mohideen criticised Janata Dal (S) Working President H.D. Kumaraswamy for his remarks against Congress leaders, and said these do little credit to him or to his party. Such statements will weaken the coalition government, they said.
