Chennai: In his `flying' days, Jonty Rhodes' act of catching was similar to Superman saving a child from near-death, minus the cape of course. Even today, when he was here as the brand ambassador for the South African firm Cerdak, a pioneer in wound care treatment devices, in a function to announce the partnership of it with Carborundum Universal Limited, fielding could not be pushed to the background. "I wish these products were available when I was fielding, sliding and scraping my hand, specially in the sub-continent," said the former South African cricketer. With the caravan moving to Kolkata, Rhodes feels that it's all upto the wicket. "After Hyderabad, the South Africans would not have expected such a slow and turning wicket in Bangalore. The wicket in Kolkata will be the key," he remarked. Back to what he does best, fielding, Rhodes is looking forward to the three-day fielding camp from November 27 to 29 in Mumbai, for 15 youngsters. And does he ever feel like getting on to the field again for a dive or a slide? "Absolutely not," he answered.
