JAIPUR: A tripartite agreement for providing mid-day meals to 20,000 school children in Chittaurgarh district of Rajasthan has been signed between the State Government, Hyderabad-based Nandi Foundation and the Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL). The students in primary schools will be served with hot and nutritious food every afternoon under the scheme. The Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Kalulal Gujjar, addressing the function marking the signing of accord in Chittaurgarh, announced an increase in the mid-day meal allocation for each student from Re. 1.50 to Rs. 2 from the New Year.
