Missing Delhi boy rescued in Bihar

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: A seven-year-old boy, who was allegedly kidnapped by a neighbour and his father from outside his Jehangirpuri residence in North-West Delhi on November 15, has been rescued from Darbhanga in Bihar. While the accused is still absconding, the police have arrested his father.

The police received a complaint from Ram Sagar, a resident of Jehangirpuri, alleging that his son Sajjan, who was playing outside the house had gone missing. Two days later, Ram received a ransom call demanding Rs. 50,000 for Sajjan's release.
