This Day That Age
Mr. Alfred Hitchcock, the reputed Hollywood director, arrived in Bombay on November 23 accompanied by his wife. He was received at the Santa Cruz airport by Mr. Clug, Managing Director of Paramount Films of India, Bombay. A large number of admirers greeted the Hitchcocks at the airport. In a brief chat, Mr. Hitchcock said he had come to India to personally find out the reaction of people to the films produced in Hollywood, particularly those made by him. He hinted at the possibility of making a suspense film with an Indian background, if he was successful in getting a suitable story during his stay in India.
