Actor Ravichandran's directorial venture

NEW FACES: Hamsavirdhan and Sruthi in `Mandiran'.

The fun-loving young man of the 60s, who gave hit movies such as `Kaadhalikka Neramillai' is now back with his first directorial venture `Mandiran'.

"I wanted to use my experience and do the film to the satisfaction of the public and myself. This is a fast, action-oriented movie with a love story in it," says Ravichandran.

`Mandiran' has Ravichandran's son Hamsavirdhan in the lead role and new find Sruthi is the heroine.

Hamsavirdhan is happy with the unit. "I am working hard to make the film a hit. The songs and their visuals have come out well. Karthik Raja handles the camera for this romance-action story. I don three types of make up, each different in their own say," he adds.

Abinayshree does a seductive number.

Another of Ravichandran's sons, Balaji is the co-producer of the film and his son-in-law Sriram, who is an advocate, has also joined in the production effort.

The film has music by Dhina with Ravichandran doing story, screenplay and dialogue besides direction.
