Addressing the "Road Show" on EXCON, the Past Chairman of CII (Southern region) C.P. Rangachar said 170 companies would be participating in the event. "The event will showcase India's engineering skills and potential as a global outsourcing destination for manufacture of construction equipment and components. And India, with its strong process engineering skills and lower production costs, is well positioned to attract global outsourcing needs," he said. The exhibit profile includes the display of earthmoving equipment, material handling equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic drilling equipment, vibratory soil compactors, paving equipment, trenchers, underground cable-laying, pipe laying, drainage and trench-digging equipment, engines and hydraulic power transmission products, spare parts and accessories and tyres and lubricants.
