Mumbai: Former Chief Election Commissioner, T.S. Krishnamurthy, appointed observer by the Supreme Court to oversee the BCCI elections, has ruled that the BCCI President shall not be entitled to vote and that the Bihar Cricket Association, not Jharkhand CA, shall be allowed to vote. The BCCI's reconvened AGM will be held in Kolkata on November 29 and 30. Mr. Krishnamurthy has, however, given Jharkhand CA an opportunity to make a representation on November 27 in Kolkata . He has also requested the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association, Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association, Delhi & District Cricket Association and National Cricket Club, Kolkata to make proper representations Mr. Krishnamurthy has also retained the clause which allows the President (Chairman of the AGM) to exercise his casting vote. Meanwhile, the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President and former BCCI President, Jagmohan Dalmiya said he was consulting lawyers as a follow up to Mr. Krishnamurthy's decisions and would make an official statement on Friday. Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, NCC, Calcutta, Delhi and Jharkand owe allegiance to the Dalmiya group that's on Ranbir Singh Mahendra's side for the BCCI presidentship.
