THRISSUR: State under-22 player Abhijith Menon belted an unbeaten century (121) and Vinod took five wickets as Chittilappilly Cricket Academy defeated Kunnamkulam CC by two wickets and entered the final of the third Santosh Menon all-Kerala cricket tournament at Cherpu on Thursday. The tournament resumes on Saturday with the second semifinal between Kochi Refineries Limited and Young Challengers CC, North Parur. The scores: Kunnamkulam CC 215 in 38.3 overs (Jinu Joseph 47, Lickson 43, Vinod five for 44) lost to Chittilappilly CA 216 for eight in 39.1 overs (Abhijith Menon 121 n.o.). — Principal Correspondent
