"Cooperative sector was ailing due to the detrimental policies of the previous Government"

Hyderabad: The newly elected chairpersons of civic bodies, Cooperative Central Banks and Marketing Societies vowed to implement welfare measures of the Government without any discrimination here on Thursday.

Addressing a meeting organised by the AP Congress Committee, the representatives promised AICC president K. Keshava Rao and Chief Minister, Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, present on the occasion, that they would put in hard work to complete the projects.

Attributing the party's success in the recent civic and cooperative elections to the benign rule of the Congress, Vasantha Nageswara Rao, chairman of the Krishna District Cooperative Central Bank said the cooperative sector was ailing due to the detrimental policies of the previous Government.
