No power

There will be no power supply in the following places on November 25 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. owing to shutdown of Peedampalli sub-station for maintenance work:

Kalangal, Pattanam, Peedampalli, Pappampatti, Akkanaickenpalayam, Pattanampudur, Nadupalayam, Chinnakulli and Naickenpalayam.

2 p.m. to 5 p.m.: Pallapalayam, Pappampatti Pirivu, Kannampalayam and Nadupalayam (one region).

Lecture

The Coimbatore Ramana Kendra will organise a spiritual lecture on November 26 on "Bhakthiyil Kanindha Bhagawan" at the Kalaikadir Building. More than 200 participants are expected to participate.

Traffic diversion

In view of the construction of drains along Nanjundapuram road, the entire stretch is declared `no-entry' for cargo and heavy vehicles proceeding from Ramanathapuram to Podanur.

The vehicles should take Tiruchi Road and Town Hall stretch to proceed to Podanur, a release from the city police said.
