History of crime runs through three generations
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD:
Strange but true, three generations of a family were involved in property crimes and got convicted, Cyberabad police have said.
V. Ganesh, 28, was arrested along with his associate G. Srinu, 39, and jewellery and silver articles worth Rs. 7 lakhs were recovered from them on Thursday. The duo had robbed two families in Chandanagar and Jubilee Hills at knifepoint this year.
The police said Ganesh's father Rambhajan and grandfather Narayana were history sheeters of Rajendranagar police station. Ganesh's ancestors had been brought to the area by contractors during the construction of Himayatsagar decades ago. Once the work was over the labourers took to crime to make ends meet.
