Chandy calls on HIV infected child

Thiruvananthapuram: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Thursday called on Reshmi, the 15-month-old infant who contracted HIV virus through a hospital-acquired infection, at her house at Pachalloor in the city. Mr. Chandy said that the Government would take up all expenses for the treatment of the child.

The Government will also consider the family's request for permanent employment for one of its members and monetary assistance for constructing a house.
