Three houses burgled in OMBR Layout

BANGALORE: Thieves broke into three houses in OMBR Layout on Wednesday and took away cash, gold ornaments and other valuables.

All the incidents took place between 9.30 a.m. and 9.30 p.m., the police said.

The thieves took away Rs. 75,000 in cash and gold ornaments estimated at Rs. 25,000 from the house of Mayanka Singh, a software engineer, on 4th B Cross, OMBR Layout. The house of Chockalingam, a businessman, on 5th Cross Road was burgled.

The value of stolen goods is not known as Chockalingam's family is away, the police said.

Jewellery taken away

In the third case, burglars took away gold ornaments and silver articles from the house of Srinivasa, a private company employee on 4th Cross Road.

The Ramamurthynagar police have registered cases.
