Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Bridge Association's preparations for the 47th National championship, to be held here from December 27 to January 5, are moving along as per schedule. The TNBA President, N.R. Kirubakaramoorthy, on Thursday, released brochures to the representatives of sponsors, HCL Insys (main sponsor), BSNL, IndusInd Bank, AVT Group, IOB, Lakshmi Mills, Welknit Apparels and the Tuticorin Bridge Association, and thanked them for coming forward to help promote the game here. Addressing pressmen, he said, that the event would be held at the JJ indoor stadium, drawing about 1,500 players from all over the country. The TNBA Secretary, Janaki Srinivasan, said that it was a big honour that K.R. Venkatraman from Chennai represented India in the recent Bermuda Bowl — Special Correspondent
