Meet on contemporary theatre

CHENNAI: For the theatre buffs, here is an opportunity to whet their appetite for the learning about theatre production in India.

The Department of English of Ethiraj College, Egmore, is organising a two-day national symposium on contemporary Indian theatre from December 2 in its premises.

Playwright Mahesh Dattani will speak on new drama in English.

Sanjana Kapoor, director of Prithvi Theatre, Arunthathi Nag, founder of Rangashankara and Chandradasan, director of Lokadharmi will provide a comprehensive view of contemporary Indian theatre.
