Satyan memorial award for Jayaram

Thiruvananthapuram:
Noted actor Jayaram has been selected for the second Satyan memorial award instituted by the Satyan Memorial Sports and Arts Club, Kollam. The award comprises a purse of Rs.10,001, a citation and a wooden lamp.
Club president A.Sharafuddin, secretary S. Radhakrishnan and advisory board member Alphonsa John said Jayaram was chosen for the award for his touching depiction of human grief. The screening committee included C.V. Ananda Bose, Anil Xavier, K.Ravindranathan Nair (General Pictures) and Ms. John.
The award will be presented at a function to be held at the club premises on January 26.
