Rain threat: officials put on alert

Nellore: The district administration has been kept on alert following the latest weather report, indicating a depression south east of Bay of Bengal, with further intensification and possibly moving towards north Tamil Nadu and South Andhra Pradesh. Accordingly, there is likely to be strong winds at a speed of 45 km to 50 km along Andhra coast from Tuesday morning. Also, there is a possibility of rain or thundershower in addition to heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places.
