Mumbai: India scored a five-wicket victory over South Africa on Monday to level the Pepsi ODI series 2-2. The win was achieved with 15 deliveries to spare. Skipper Rahul Dravid was unbeaten with a priceless unbeaten 78 (106 balls, 10x4), guiding the side to victory in a pressure situation. Yuvraj Singh contributed 49, as India successfully chased South Africa's 221 for six in 50 overs. It was not an easy chase for India on a pitch with bounce and carry, but Dravid proved hard to breach. He was named the Man of the Match. Yuvraj Singh and South Africa captain Graeme Smith shared the Man of the Series award. Earlier, Jacques Kallis scored 91 for South Africa after the side was Put in to bat. For India, left-arm paceman Irfan Pathan once again struck at the start and finished with three wickets. Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh bowled well to claim two wickets. With the series drawn, South Africa lost the opportunity to register its maiden ODI series triumph in India. During his effort, Dravid became the highest run-getter this year in ODIs.
