SMART Technologies to expand

BANGALORE: The Canada-based SMART Technologies, a market leader in interactive whiteboards, is seeking to expand its presence in India by setting up an office. The company's President and co-CEO, Nancy Knowlton, told reporters here on Tuesday that it had `big plans' for India. The company is at present selling its products in the Indian market through a distributor. The company on Tuesday announced the launch of SMART Board 600 series interactive whiteboard.
