2 killed in accident

Tiruchengode: Two persons were killed in a road accident here on Monday.

The police said Veeramani (25) and Thangavelu (22), both residents of Mettupalayam, were on their way to Namakkal on a two-wheeler when it collided with a rig lorry.

Both of them were killed on the spot.

The Tiruchengode Rural police registered a case and arrested the lorry driver.
