Police restrained in their action against TDP leaders

HYDERABAD:
The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Tuesday restrained police authorities from taking any coercive steps, including filing of charge sheet for 48 hours against Telugu Desam leaders who have been shown as accused pursuant to the complaint filed by Collector, Warangal.
The orders were passed by Justice V. Eswaraiah while dealing with a writ petition filed by senior functionaries of the TDP. They contended that the case was foisted due to political reasons.
The judge said that the case would be taken up for hearing on Thursday and stay would be operative for two days.
