Power shutdown in some areas

Powers supply will be affected between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday in K.G. Halli, Vinobanagar, Venkateshpura, Nagawara Main Road, Inayathnagar, Arokhyama layout, Pillanna Garden and surrounding areas, according to the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company.

Alternative healing camp

Om Shree Baba Vishwashanti Arogya Alternative Healing and Yoga Mandira has organised a free alternative healing camp for back pain, neck pain, head ache, joints pain, asthma, diabetes, blood pressure, mental tension, nervous disorders, constipation, digestive disorders, ulcers and other ailments. The camp will be held between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on December 4.

Yoga course

Prakruthi Jeevana Kendra has arranged a month-long yoga course for mental stress, chronic diseases and better health from December 3 on its premises on 8th Cross, Malleswaram. For details, call Ph: 23311186 or 23369234.

Dak adalat

The Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Bangalore West Division, has arranged a "Dak Adalat" on postal complaints on December 22 at 11 a.m. in his office. Those with grievances could write to him or call Ph: 23324751, according to a press release.

Pranayama

Y.K. Suresh, disciple of Pranayama guru Swamy Ramdeve, will conduct a free week-long Pranayama camp from December 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Sri Jayarama Seva Mandali, 1st Main, 8th block, Jayanagar. For more details, contact 26652078 or 9342390135.

Health check-up

The Karnataka P&T Pensioners' Association has organised a free check-up camp for prostate enlargement and other related ailments at Daffodils English School, 4th Main, Sanjayanagar, RMV 2nd stage, on December 4. For registrations, call 23415379, a press release said.
