Tanker lorry reported stolen

Thiruvananthapuram: A tanker lorry, parked on the road near a petrol pump at General Hospital, was reported stolen in the early hours of Tuesday. The Cantonment police have registered a case of theft on the basis of a complaint given by the owner of the fuel outlet.

Youth held

The Fort police have arrested a 28-year-old youth on the charge of stealing the wallets of commuters at East Fort city bus stand. The police identified the accused as Assad, a resident of Kattakada. He was produced before the court and remanded to 14 days in judicial custody.
