Hubli-Dharwad
Staff Correspondent
HUBLI: M. Madan Mohan, Special Correspondent of The Hindu, and his wife were felicitated by working journalists in Hubli on Wednesday. The function was organised in view of Mr. Madan Mohan's retirement after serving The Hindu for more than four decades.
Objective reporting
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Madan Mohan underscored the need for journalists to look at an issue in an objective way and to have an open mind. He said: "One should remember that every issue will, at least, evoke two points of view." Senior journalists Arun Kumar Habbu, Gopalkrishna Hegde, Kapur, Mohan Hegde and others spoke about what they have learnt about the profession from the veteran journalist.
