Cobra Beer plant to be set up in AP

HYDERABAD: Cobra Beer Ltd., one of the fastest growing beer brands in the U.K., has announced plans to set up a greenfield plant in Hyderabad with an estimated investment of $10 million. The company is eyeing the larger beer market in Andhra Pradesh and plans to sell one million cases every year in the next few years. It is already marketing its Indian brewed product in Kolkata, New Delhi, Rajasthan, Mumbai, Goa and Pune. Cobra Beer Founder and Chief Executive, Karan Bilimoria, announced the formal launch of the product in Andhra Pradesh markets on Tuesday.
