Canara Bank opens branch, ATM

HYDERABAD: Canara Bank opened a branch and an ATM at Kompally near here on Tuesday. The bank's Chairman and Managing Director, M. B. N. Rao, speaking to reporters on the occasion said the bank was open to mergers and acquisitions as a part of its growth strategy. It had set a target of Rs. 182,000 crore business during the current fiscal against Rs. 167,000 crore by the end of the second quarter. It had tied-up with few other banks for a venture capital initiative.
