Kolkata: BCCI President Sharad Pawar met Jagmohan Dalmiya on Wednesday at the latter's residence to discuss legal matters pertaining to domestic and international cricket. Talking to the reporters after the meeting Mr Pawar said, "There are several matters in domestic and international cricket that need to be handled carefully. These are matters pertaining to legal problems." "If the Board does not take immediate action on these issues, they will prove to be a liability. I went to meet Mr Dalmiya with this in mind," he added. "Mr Dalmiya knows all the issues and matters like the back of his hand. It is my responsibility to know the matters in all details so that I can fulfil my responsibilities carefully and in a just manner. I learnt these details from him," he said. "I appreciate his support and look forward to working more closely in future also," he further added. UNI
