VISAKHAPATNAM: Folk dances and other cultural items will mark the fifth anniversary of Sri Panchajanya Welfare Association to be organised at the VUDA Children's Theatre on Friday. Formed in 2000, SPWA has been undertaking service activities like conducting blood donation camps, distribution of fruits to patients in hospitals and free yoga classes on a regular basis during the past five years, association secretary K. Visweswara Rao told a media conference on Thursday. The activities undertaken include distribution of 200 uniforms to poor students, conduct of blood donation and eye camps, free distribution of medicines to poor and conduct of free yoga classes.Sri Panchajanya Sevaratna Awards will be given away to K. Gopalakrishna (MD of G.K. Foundries Pvt. Ltd.), Ch. Pothuraju (former corporator), A. Ramu Naidu (Councillor, Bheemunipatnam), Vanapalli Ravikumar (chairman, Saipooja Foundation) and Dr. K. Srinivasa Rao (of Rafha Poly Clinic) at the function.
