TVS Motor's November sales up

CHENNAI: TVS Motor Company has achieved a sales growth of five per cent in November at 1.13 lakh units against 1.08 lakh units in the same period in the previous year. Sales of motorcycles stood at 68,122 units as compared to 65,066 units. According to a release, the growth in motorcycle sales was aided by the good demand for TVS Victor and TVS StaR. Sales of TVS Scooty were higher at 21,057 units against 20,646 units. The company sold 24,082 mopeds as compared to 22,118 units in the year-ago period.
