Pondicherry : A large number of people turned up at the loan mela conducted by the Pondicherry branch of the UCO Bank on the premises of its main branch here on Wednesday. A release from the bank said loans totalling Rs 5 crores were sanctioned. The Assistant General Manager of the bank in Pondicherry, T.R. Ramachandran, welcomed those present. Deputy General Manager (Tamilnadu and Pondicherry) A.H. Krishnamoorthy, inaugurated the loan mela.
