In the Mahatma's footsteps

M. Dinesh Varma

CHENNAI: Successful men have always inspired him. But in the pantheon of his heroes, Mahatma Gandhi occupies pride of place. Shall Gandhi Sinha, a Ph.D. holder from McGill University, embodies Gandhism. So much so that he has moulded a look-alike persona-the bald pate, steel-frame glasses, loin cloth and a, walking stick.

The audience at a meeting jointly convened the other day by five Rotary Club units watched a presentation in which Mr. Sinha quite got into the character of the Father of the Nation. Mr. Sinha explained to the audience what Gandhi would have done in a similar situation.
