A ready-reckoner

Peace Trust, a non-governmental organisation in Dindigul district, working for protecting rights of migrant workers, has released a handy `Tamil Migrant Diary.' It covers information on names of recognised recruitment agents in Tamil Nadu, addresses of Indian Embassies and non-governmental organisations working for migrant workers, details of overseas manpower corporations and emigrants' labour laws of United Arab Emirates. Names of blacklisted foreign companies are also given. It would be of great use to migrant workers.

The diaries are available for free at the NGO's offices in Dindigul, Sivaganga, T. Nagar in Chennai, Rayanur near Thanthonimalai in Karur and in Nagapattinam.
