The specials will leave Chennai Beach at 4.35 pm and reach Tirumayilai at 4.51 pm. In the return direction they will leave Tirumayilai at 4.40 pm and reach Beach at 4.56 pm, according to a railway press release.
Traffic diversions for cricket match
Diversions will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will be reversed from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Entry to Bells Road will be from Wallajah Road with no access via Bharathi Salai. Entry from the side roads on to Bells Road is prohibited. Only vehicles with passes will be allowed on Bharathi Salai from Triplicane High Road up to Kamarajar Salai. Canal Road will have entry from Bharathi Salai with no entry from Wallajah Road. Vehicles without passes from Mount Road should park at Anna Square, Government Estate, Pandian Thidal and Presidency College ground using Adams Road. Those coming on Kamarajar Salai should park in Presidency College. No MTC buses will not be permitted on Wallajah Road from Kamarajar Salai
