KOLLAM: The SNDP Ekopana Samiti has announced fielding a rival panel against the panel of Yogam general secretary Vellapally Natesan for the coming SNDP Yogam elections. At a press conference here on Saturday, patron of the Samiti S. Suvarnakumar said that for the president's post the candidate of the Samiti is Perumbavur C.K. Sasi and for the general secretary's post the candidate is P.S. Rajendran. The other candidates of the rival panel are K.V. Soman for the vice president's post and Mukola Surendran for the Devaswom secretary's post. He said that the candidates will file their nomination papers on December 6. Mr. Suvarnakumar said that the reason for fielding a rival panel is to save the SNDP Yogam from the alleged eight-year misrule of Mr. Natesan.
