10-day mega crafts bazaar begins

Artisans from different parts of State are participating

CHENNAI: A 10-day mega bazaar of crafts from all over the country began here on Friday.

Artisans from different parts of the State are participating in the bazaar, sponsored jointly by the Crafts Council of India and the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Union Ministry of Textiles.

Former Congress MP V. Dandayuthapani inaugurated the show in the absence of Union Minister of State E.V.K.S. Elangovan.
