MUMBAI: Rohan Gide, seeded number three, wore down unseeded Siddharth Alapati 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (3) in a hard-fought boys singles final in the Mumbai leg of the MSLTA-ITF Tennis Circuit on Saturday.
Sanaa Bhambri, crowned the girls singles champion, appeared in control against Yulia Goloborodko, winning in straight sets.
Results (all finals): Girls singles: 3-Sanaa Bhambri (India) bt Yulia Goloborodko (Ukraine) 6-1, 6-2; Girls doubles: Sanaa Bhambri/Sandri Gangotri (Ind) bt Anastasya Vasylyeva (Ukr) 2-6, 6-0, 6-1; Boys singles: 3-Rohan Gide (India) bt Siddharth Alapati (India) 2-6, 6-2, 7-6 (3); Boys doubles: Rohan Gide/Tejaswi Rao (India) bt Kinshuk Sharma/Arnav Jain (India) 7-6 (5), 7-5.
