KOLKATA: Mukesh Kumar of Mhow came from behind to win the inaugural Hero Honda Open East golf championship at the Royal Calcutta Golf Course here on Saturday. He pipped Amardip Sinh Malik of Meerut in a play-off after both finished with four-under 284. With a final day's score of one-under 71, Mukesh took on the rookie in the play-off where his experience prevailed. Feroz Ali, the leader over last two days, started the day at nine-under 207. He seemed to miss the pin almost on a regular basis. With a seven-over 79 for the day, Feroz ended at the fourth spot, with a total of two-under 286 for the tournament.
