KARIMNAGAR: Differences among the Telugu Desam Party district leaders came to the fore at the party executive committee meeting here on Saturday over the re-entry of the party rebels, D. Srinivas and K. Srihari. Party sources said that there was a verbal dual between the district party president L. Ramana and the party Indurthi leaders--Ravinder Rao and Rajitha--on the issue. Party leader Ravinder Rao has flayed the party district unit president for the re-entry of rebels. He said that the party has suffered a lot due to presence of the rebels in the Indurthi Assembly segment in the last elections. Immediately, the party district unit president began to leave the venue. But, senior party leaders suggested that Mr. Ramana give a patient hearing to the party workers problems.
Negligence alleged
Senior leader, K. Agaiah alleged that the party lost miserably in the recent municipal elections due to negligence by the district party leaders. At this point Mr. Ramana staged a walk out amid protests by the party leaders. Later, the meeting ended abruptly without any discussion.
