Uma to reply today
Raisen (Madhya Pradesh)
: Suspended BJP leader Uma Bharti has decided to reply to the party's show cause notice at a public meeting here on Sunday, her loyalist and former Madhya Pradesh Minister Sunil Nayak said on Saturday.
"Umaji has not sent any reply to the show cause notice as she did not receive any response from the BJP on the issues raised by her, though the 24-hour time period set for the purpose is over," Mr. Nayak told reporters at Sadalatpur near here.
"Now Umaji would give her reply through the public meeting as no response has been received from the BJP on promising an ideology-based system of working in the party, societal balance among functionaries and ban on off-the-record briefing,'' he said.
In addition, Ms. Bharti, at a press conference near here on Friday, demanded immediate reconstitution of the party's parliamentary board. — PTI
