THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Hundreds of SBT employees belonging to the All India Bank Employees Association held a demonstration in front of the zonal office here on Saturday demanding a halt to unilateral decisions and their implementation by the management. The association also called for adequate recruitment, compassionate appointments to resolve difficulties faced by customers consequent to implementation of Core Banking, stop deploying of staff for marketing of insurance and mutual fund products and probe into the indiscriminate purchase of inferior quality machines and accessories. The demonstration was part of a nation-wide agitation programme launched by the SBT Employees Union. It was inaugurated by union president K. Chandrasekharan Nair.
