Drugs missing from SAT

Thiruvananthapuram:
Expensive drugs worth thousands of rupees have been reported missing from the paying counter of SAT Hospital.
The authorities at the hospital have called for a detailed stock verification.
The drugs were reported missing on November 26, following which SAT Superintendent K. Rajmohan called for a preliminary inquiry.
Dr. Rajmohan said that five vials of `Hepa B', immunoglobulin injections for treating Hepatitis B costing Rs. 14,000, have been confirmed as missing.
A detailed inquiry has been called for to ascertain the actual loss, he said.
