THRISSUR: Leader of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) and cultural activist M.A. Baby has said that no work of art is devoid of politics. "There are some persons who obstinately argue that the creator of a work of should be free from the influence of any political position when he or she is engaged in creative work. But in the ultimate analysis of all the works of art will have some political position ingrained into them. This is because all human beings have political position," Mr Baby said while inaugurating the function organised by the Ankanam cultural group here on Sunday to felicitate the renowned Malayalam writer C.V. Sreeraman. The Kannada translation of 75 stories authored by Sreeraman was released at the function by the Kannada writer Kamalaksha by giving its copy to Sahithya Akademi Secretary P.V. Krishnan Nair.
