Jamath plans demonstration

Pondicherry: The Pondicherry unit of Towheed Jamath has planned to hold a demonstration in front of Head Post office here on December 6 (Babri Masjid Demolition anniversary day) to urge the Centre to expedite the trial of Babri Masjid Demolition case. The spokesman of the organisation A. Peer Mohammed said in a release here recently that the volunteers of the organisation would also seek through the demonstration handing over of the disputed site to Muslims and also completion of the Liberhan Commission of Enquiry. The Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre should also construct the mosque and there should be strict adherence to the spirit of the Constitution to ensure equality before law, Mr Peer Mohammed said.
