PONDICHERRY: The licence for conducting cultural shows in two hotels in the town has been suspended. Police said no further extension would be given to Filo and Sun hotels for conducting cultural shows. The government has taken the decision after receiving complaints that the hotels were conducting obscene shows in the guise of cultural programmes. "The raids conducted by us in these hotels found that license conditions are faulted and hence we recommended the government to cancel the licence.
