Applications invited for nursing colleges

HYDERABAD: The high-power committee appointed by the Government has invited applications for starting colleges of nursing in the State. The colleges, offering four-year course with internship of six months, would be affiliated to the N.T.R.Health University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada.

A press release issued by I.V.Subba Rao, Principal Secretary, Health, said on Monday that interested persons could purchase the application forms from the office of the committee chairman located in the Directorate of Medical Education, Koti.

Last date

A demand draft for Rs.15,000, drawn in favour of the Director of Medical Education, is to be submitted along with the application. The application fee is not refundable.

December 31 is the last date for receiving requests for applications, which are to be submitted by February 2, 2006.
