London: England captain Michael Vaughan will miss the one-day series against Pakistan to undergo exploratory knee surgery, but is likely to recover in time for India tour. Vaughan, who suffered a reoccurrence of his long-standing right knee injury during England's warm-up match in Lahore last month, will undergo an arthroscopic assessment following Monday's consultation with doctors. Vaughan expressed his disappointment at missing the series, but sounded optimistic of recovering in time for the India tour beginning in March next year. UNI
