Real-time commodity futures prices on SMS

CHENNAI: Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX), Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL), on Tuesday announced the launch of short messaging service (SMS) to provide real-time prices of commodities futures and spot market. This facility will be available for cellular subscribers on BSNL and MTNL networks, across India, and will cover the entire array of commodities traded on MCX, says a release.
